Singers & Hand Bell Ringers to perform on Sunday at 2 pm
Singers & Hand Bell Ringers from throughout the community are coming together at 2 pm on Sunday, December 8th to present: Joy to the World! A Celebration of Christmas Carols.
You are invited to join in the festivities & celebrate the Joy of this season at Trinity Lutheran Church (1002 East 13th Street, Vinton).
Blessed Hope Church to hold Christmas Program this Sunday
Blessed Hope Church will present the history of the 12 Days of Christmas at it's annual Christmas Program.
The program begins at 9:30 am followed by snacks for everyone.
The public is welcome to attend and enjoy watching the children as they present and sing in Sunday's program.
Blessed Hope Church is located at 1509 M Ave. in Vinton, behind Theisen's.
Christmas celebrations to unite Presbyterian, Trinity Lutheran Choirs Dec. 8
"Joy to the World, A Celebration of Carols," is scheduled for the December 8th, 2013 10:30 am worship service at the Vinton Presbyterian Church, where the Adult Choir, joined by choir members from the Trinity Lutheran Church, will be singing many well-loved Christmas carols.
Also, the public is invite to join the continuation of the celebration of Christ's birth at 2:00 p.
Tour de Lights set for Dec. 8
The annual Tour de Lights 5K run/walk fund-raiser for the Vinton-Shellsburg cross country and track teams takes place on Dec. 8. Runners from all over come to compete in what can be very cold conditions.

Bereavement 'Meet and Eat' December 5th
The Bereavement Support group, 'Meet and Eat" will meet at noon at the Pizza Ranch in Vnton on Thursday, December 5, 2013.
Anyone who is grieving a loss is welcome to attend.

Basket making with Benton County Conservation, Dec. 12
You’ll want to join us as we make a delightful basket and ornament, just in time for the Holidays.

Breast Cancer Survivors to meet December 3
Breast Cancer Survivors will meet Tuesday, December 3 at 5:30 p.m. for fun and conversation at Windsor Manor in the dining room. Those attending are asked to bring an hors d'oeuvre to share. We will have a gift exchange for those who would like. Please also bring a wrapped gift not to exceed $10 in cost.

Christmas Cantata set for Dec. 8, at Trinity Lutheran
A Christmas Contata! Sunday, Dec. 8, at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. Everyone is welcome to attend! A collection of Christmas carols will be sung and played by vocal and bell choirs of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Presbyterian Church. No admission required, a free will offering will be taken. Come and get into the Christmas spirit!
